The Indian Andaman islands are known more for the unique presence of elephants that swim in the sea.
With the understanding that the respect of the existing conditions of nature is not just an absolute necessity to contribute to “save the world” from collapse due to shifting of earth, but it is also a benefit to create a rich source for local economy.
Landscape planning and architecture can be the first proper instrument to achieve this result.
To Create an Eco-friendly Resort providing “Barefoot” luxury vacation, to be able to embrace and feel nature was the top most priority while designing this resort.
The idea was to provide a beautiful, comfortable place to stay for nature lovers, keeping them always in the midst of nature.
The master plan is in ‘’organic forms’’ always reflecting and reminding of the eco friendly character of the resort.
The architectural form of each building is in organic forms and has been designed, using the local material- local wood and bamboo.
Using the existing natural contours of the terrain, each villa is provided with a panoramic view to the ocean.
This became a major forte to this resort design.
