Miriandhoo is a coral island located in the Baa Atoll, at north of Male. The Baa Atoll is located at west of the Maldives atoll chain.
The resort masterplan includes 70 hospitality units, 9 “public buildings” for facilities, and 16 buildings in the Back of House and Staff Area.
The design of the Resort in Miriandhoo island, Maldives is innovative and iconic, a contemporary architecture environmentally and socially sustainable.
The master plan, the architecture, the landscape and the interior design will provide a unique experience in this innovative luxury, barefoot, sustainable place.
Innovative architecture with contemporary organic shape, essential and sophisticated interiors and decorations, with precious local materials and art&crafts with the best advanced and invisible technologies.
Timber wood from neighbour countries will complete the external finishing and frames, including the light structure part of a double skin system building. These natural shelters will provide innovative organic shape, natural ventilation between the solid building and these lighter natural skins and comfortable shading.
The master plan aim allows the minimum consumption of land and natural resource, the minimum alteration of the natural balance of reef in the water and the green on the island.
The Resort target is the sustainability and in long terms the quite complete self sufficient strategy for water, food and energy.
