The vision was to create a big “castle” on the beach, playing on the complexity of three close buildings.
The main issue that substantially stays back the idea of this plan is the reinterpretation of the African identity, reinventing the local and the continental roots in a contemporary elegant style.
The three villas are conceived with two different characters.
1- The sea side façade consists of open cubes with clear glazing stretched all along allowing the amazing view of the Guinea Gulf.
2- The rear façade is emphasising the concept of the “castle” by the continuity of horizontal and vertical walls with very small window openings. Hollow openings are provided in the continuity of roof coverings for the palm trees to emerge out.
